Werner Vosloo

Werner Vosloo is a naturopathic physician whose practice focusses on patients with complex chronic conditions like fibromyalgia and other chronic fatigue linked illnesses.

After completing a 6 year master degree program in homeopathy in Durban, South Africa, he continued his studies in naturopathic medicine at NCNM in Portland, Oregon. He is Board Certified by the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine.

A passionate interest in multi-symptom and multi-system conditions led him to specialize in fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue immune dysfunction syndrome at the Fibro and Fatigue Center of Portland, with Dr. Jacob Teitelbaum MD as clinical director.

However, after several years he discovered that in spite of good, thorough diagnostics and testing, and fastidiously applying the appropriate treatments, there were still a number of patients mostly unresponsive. He felt he was missing something very important in the patients that did not get better.

Dr. Shoemaker's work offered the solution, and he realized that biotoxin and mold illness was a very common, important, diagnosable and overlooked part of the chronic conditions he was treating: lyme and co-infections, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome were partly due to the immune systems bipolar response to biotoxins which, fortunately, responds very well to treatment.

He is honored to be certified by Dr Shoemaker and to join the Surviving Mold Certified Doctors.
