I am a Functional Medicine Practitioner and Holistic Health Consultant with over 22 years of experience in the health and wellness industry. Through my years of education and working with clients, I’ve come to see proper nutrition and a healthy lifestyle as the foundations for both physical and psychological well-being. It has become clear that most of what is called “medical disease” today is simply the result of chronic metabolic dysfunction secondary to stress and poor diet or lifestyle choices.

As a functional medicine practitioner and nutritionist, I use laboratory testing and targeted questionnaires to identify the underlying imbalances in your body that may be contributing to symptoms or disease. Once identified, we can work together to develop customized dietary, lifestyle, and supplement protocols that will help to bring your body back into balance.

Because of it’s heavy emphasis on profit, conventional medical has pigeon-holed itself into a symptom-focused, pharmaceutical-based paradigm. Medical doctors can quite literally lose their medical license if they don’t recommend what is called the "standard of care", which necessarily involves either medication or surgical-based treatments. My goal as a healthcare practitioner is to help make this allopathic, pharmaceutical-based approach to managing chronic disease and symptoms obsolete by identifying and addressing what causes disease in the first place.

In order to better help my clients, I have trained extensively in the areas of human nutrition, functional medicine, and corrective exercise. In my practice, I place heavy emphasis on educating my clients, making a point to support my recommendations with scientific literature and third-party validation whenever possible. My practice focuses primarily on addressing the root causes of chronic fatigue, inflammation, autoimmune disorders, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer, mineral imbalances, hormonal imbalances, and neurodegenerative conditions.
