How it Works
Coaching is a relationship between equals. Coaches are partners who support a client’s overall well-being. They hold a space and time for clients, listening carefully, asking insightful questions, and helping clients evaluate options with greater clarity and confidence. Coaches help you set goals designed to improve your wellness and your quality of life, and they’re accountability partners to monitor your progress toward the things that are most important to you.
Common AREAS OF FOCUS include:
-
dealing with the stress and “overwhelm” of adjusting to a new lifestyle and the limits chronic illness imposes
-
dealing with the daily frustrations of living within these limitations
-
help with pacing and maintaining energy levels
-
explaining your illness(es) to family members, friends and others
-
developing and maintaining boundaries (e.g., dealing with the demands, requests and the needs of others, including family and friends)
-
not allowing the illness to define you
-
carving out a life that is happy and satisfying, regardless of your level of disability
- dealing with medical professionals who treat you badly
Coaching sessions are $125 for 50 minutes, payable in advance. Or, if you'd like to get to know me a bit first, a 20-minute “get to know me” session is just $50. Within 24 hours, I’ll contact you to set up a convenient date and time. Sign up is here.
